Recycling of Old Propane Tanks

The City of Surrey and Waste Management, the garbage pickup contractor will refuse to pick up old barbecue propane tanks. Tanks placed in the dumpsters or blue recycle bins will incur a fine to the strata corporation. Do not leave old tanks in the garbage area. Recycling of propane cylinders is offered for free at:

• Langley Transfer Station - 1070 272nd Street Aldergrove (7 days a week)

• Surrey Transfer Station - 9770 192 Street Surrey (Monday-Saturday)
