Once again, GFL has left us with an overflowing cardboard bin. They are scheduled to pickup each Tuesday, but have not picked up the cardboard since the 29th of July. They said today they will be by on Saturday, August 9th for a cardboard pickup. They have promised to also pick up any of the cardboard around the bin due to the lack of service.

If you have a huge amount of cardboard to dump in the meantime, there is free cardboard recycling available at the Super Save Group head office located beside the Super Save Gas station on the Langley Bypass.

Strata council will be re-evaluating GFL's service contract and seeking better service in the future.

Regular power was finally restored to the Liberty at about 12:30 this evening. Both elevators are working, however the 19388 elevator is having an issue with its interior (cab) light. This seems to be due to the irregular power supply on Saturday night. You may want to turn on the flashlight on your cell phone.

Richmond Elevator has been dispatched to rectify the problem.

There is an issue with the power in the neighborhood. One of the 'legs' of the power supply for 800 customers in the area are affected. Please do not not use appliances until it is resolved. The elevators are not working. The garage door on the 19388 side is propped open for exit and entry. The garage door on the 19366 side is currently running on its backup battery. The front doors are unlatched for entry and exit without a fob.
