Propane cylinders are not allowed in the dumpsters. Do not leave them on the ground beside the dumpsters. Empty cylinders must be disposed of at one of the Metro Vancouver Transfer stations:

  • North Surrey Recycling and Waste Centre - 9770 192nd Street (Port Kells)

  • Langley Recycling and Waste Centre - 1070 272nd Street Aldergrove

Both stations allow the depositing of propane cylinders (portable 1-pound camping-size and full 20-pound BBQ size) without charge.




Fraser Valley Fire Protection will be returning to test the fire safety devices in suites who did not provide access during the last test: The testing will commence at 8:00 a.m.


Suites to be tested include:

19366: Units 108, 202 and 401

19388: Units 109, 111, 207, 209, 304, 313 and 412


The fire bells will be rung during this time. If you are one of the above listed units, please arrange for someone to provide access to the suite. Any return trips to you unit may be at unit owner’s expense.

Take this opportunity to dispose of unwanted items that are not permitted in regular household garbage. A forty-yard bin from King Bin will be delivered on Friday, August 12th and picked up on Monday August 15th. You can dispose of furniture, car tires, bedding, barbecues, appliances, old or expired electronics, old bicycles, renovation waste (except drywall) - see below for exclusion list

Please note the following items are not permitted in the bin:

  • Mattresses

  • Drywall

  • Paint

  • Motor Oil

  • Automotive batteries

  • Propane tanks

  • Food or animal waste

  • Toxic or hazardous materials
