The City of Surrey and Waste Management, the garbage pickup contractor will refuse to pick up old barbecue propane tanks. Tanks placed in the dumpsters or blue recycle bins will incur a fine to the strata corporation. Do not leave old tanks in the garbage area. Recycling of propane cylinders is offered for free at:



Please be aware that wild animals, including raccoons, coyotes and cougars live in the area and may pose a risk to pets and small children.


  • Keep dogs on a leash and under control at all times

  • Avoid walking dogs at dawn or dusk in wooded areas

  • Do not leave pet feeding bowls outside

  • Do not feed coyotes or raccoons

With the dry hot summer weather upon us safe disposal of cigarettes is very important. The Liberty experienced a recent issue where smoke was coming from a planter on the property, and had to be extinguished by several residents.

Please ensure you do not leave lit cigarettes in planters or on grass, in addition, do not butt out cigarettes in planters, and do not leave butts on the Common Property.
