Our new Enterphone (not exactly as pictured)

The new Mircom Enterphone has been installed in the 19366 building. The database entries as requested are in place. Thanks to VanDelta Communications for the hardware and Hickman Masonry for the touch-up of the stonework around the unit.

The new Enterphone features an 8-line display, dedicated scroll buttons and optional voice guidance for those with visual disabilities.

The door strike that opens the door by the Enterphone code and the door fob is now running on DC current instead of AC, so it is silent, other than a slight 'click' sound when unlocking. This will make the lobby and surrounding units much quieter, instead of the loud 'buzz' that the door used to make when you 'buzzed in'.

If you have modifications or additions you need to the database, please fill out the online form here:

The annual In-Suite Fire Inspection will take place this Monday, April 26th starting at 8:00 a.m. Fraser Valley Fire Protection will be on site testing the smoke detectors and fire beepers in each suite. If you are not going to be home, strata council is offering a key-drop service.

The last day and time for this service is Sunday, April 25th from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. outside the Clubhouse at the Mail Room entrance.

If Fraser Valley Fire cannot access your suite for this test, they will have to reschedule a return visit at your expense.

The Enterphone at the entry of the 19366 building is scheduled for replacement tomorrow. The old unit will be disassembled and the new unit installed in its place. The new entries provided by the residents online and through the printed form will be used for the basis of the database for the new system. On Tuesday, you can provide visitors with your phone number and meet them at the door during the time the new system is being installed. The installation should be finished by the end of the day.

The procedure to let people into the building will be the same as before:

  1. Visitors will scroll through the list to find the residents name and associated code (if an anonymous entry was requested, they will have to know the code number ahead of time).

  2. Visitors type in the 3 digit code on the keypad

  3. The system will dial your requested phone number (land-line or cell)

  4. You will be connected with the system to speak with them via the speakerphone to verify their identity

  5. If you want them to gain access, you press 9 to open the door.

New entries or modifications to the database can be submitted through the website page.

The Enterphone at the entrance to the 19388 building will replaced at a future date.
