The annual Fire Inspection and contracted installation service is to be done

Monday, May 5th to Wednesday, May 7th, 2025.

Days and times for the work are as follows:

Monday, May 5th - Alarm panel contracted service

Alarms may ring - no suite access will be needed for this day

Tuesday, May 6th - 19366 Building In-suite testing

Wednesday, May 7th - 19388 Building In-Suite Testing

The technicians from Community Fire Prevention will be arriving on site at approximately 8:30 a.m. each of these days. They will be in-suite testing of all suites at the Liberty on the dates listed above. This mandatory (Provincial Fire Code) inspection calls for all in-suite Fire Protection Devices (beepers and smoke detectors) to be tested at that time. Access to all suites is required on the days listed above. ComFire will be testing only one building each day, although bells and beepers may continue to ring in other buildings during any of the dates above. Please ensure that you, the owner, occupant or tenant is available to permit entry. Should you not be able to do so, please provide a neighbour or member of the council with access to your suite. You may drop a key off at the Clubhouse at the times listed below:

Key Drop off in the Clubhouse (enter via the frosted double door in the mail room):

Thursday, May 1st 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Saturday, May 3rd 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Sunday, May 4th 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Please note:

  • The alarms in the complex are very loud. Please make arrangements to care for infants or animals that may be frightened of loud noises.

  • Community Fire has arranged for these days only for testing. B.C. Fire Code now requires that every unit in the complex be tested. If you are unable to provide access to your suite, a return visit will be required at your expense.

Due to our proximity to Langley Regional Airport (CYNJ), drones (UAV, or unmanned aerial vehicles), regardless of size or performance, are not permitted anywhere on the property. This is a regulation enforced by NAV Canada and Transport Canada and extends from Langley Airport in a circle that encompasses most of Langley City, the Willowbrook area and south east Clayton Heights.

The area in red is a no-fly zone for all drones in the Langley City area. The Liberty (green X) is within this zone.
